VINCI have an exciting opportunity to join their Asset Management team as their Graduate Asset Assistant.The role of Graduate Asset Assistant is to support the asset team in all aspects relating to Life Cycle Asset Management and deliver compliant, Intelligent, cost effective solutions and reports in a professional and safe manner.
Interface with on-site facilities project teams, technology centre, specialist engineering resource & internal groups to delivering the operational requirements of the PFI contracts, Clients, SPV's & Project Companies Work with internal teams, Clients to create additional value by demonstrating asset management capability & excellence within the VINCI Facilities organisation.
Ensuring building life cycle asset management is embedded into day to day operations increasing the value of the VINCI Facilities offer to existing and new Customers.
The person
- Willing to learn and develop into the role
- M&E or building related Qualifications
- M&E or Electrical or Building Maintenance background
- IT literate
- Advanced
- Excel skills
- Likes data analysis
- Tablet and etools user
- Report writing / power point presentations
- Database & or etools experience
- An interest in Buildings and how they work and what effects assets in buildings
- Any commercial or cost information experience
- Any asset knowledge or willing to learn
- Flexible with Initiative
- Selfstarted that can work alone and as part of the team
The role
- Support the Asset Manager in implementing the successful management strategy for the Projects.
- Ensure effective systems are established to support the operational needs of the Account
- Ensure systems are in place to optimise asset management on all projects
- Works with the Facilities Managers to develop management resources to meet operational needs and effects change where required
- Actively manage the Suppliers to deliver best value into the Accounts
- Understand the financial requirements of the Asset management.
- Support the Asset Manager and Commercial teams in managing the finances of the Account
- Ensure correct commercial procedures are followed to ensure the Clients budgets requirements are adhered to and the Account is not exposed to financial risk.
- Support the project & commercial teams in developing quotes/business cases for out of scope/additional works
Salary:
£30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
