National Gas Operations Degree Apprenticeship - 48 months - summer 2024 start - c£28k - Livingston:
Are you enthusiastic about the dynamic field of Engineering and are looking to kick start your career through a hands-on apprenticeship?


In this role, you will join National Gas on an 48 month degree apprenticeship at our Livingston site, completing 4 placements across our Operations departments, providing you a well-rounded experience and skillset.

In this Degree apprenticeship you will work with a larger team to maintain pipelines, terminals and compressors to ensure the safe, secure and reliable operation of the gas network.

The gas network that keeps our homes warm and our lights on.

Alongside this, you will study towards a BEng (Hons) in Engineering:
Instrumentation, Measurement and Control.


We welcome all learners from diverse backgrounds, as we know diverse minds bring new ideas and a different way of thinking.

There is a requirement to have grades BBBB to include Maths and either Engineering Science, Physics or Technological Studies. English at National 5 Grade C or above is required if not held at Higher.

You must bring an inquisitive mind, an ability to solve problems, good communication skills and a desire to work in a fast paced essential industry that will mean you can make a difference from day one.

A driving licence is mandatory for you to be successful in this role.
