We are recruiting a Group Head of HR to join our amazing team here at Future Care Group.

The Role

The role will involve....

  • Guide, manage lead and delegate the efficient provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the whole Group via effective people management of the HR department.
  • Manage and motivate the Recruitment unit, enable modern and creative recruiting practices that access external and internal sources of talent efficiently and ensure the organisation has the people in place at all levels and locations to effect high qualityoperational delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement training and management development plans that equip people to meet the demands of their jobs and deliver high quality, caring experience.
  • Ensure all employees are informed and engaged in the Group's vision, mission and values
  • Improve and monitor all relevant working protocols and procedures on a continuous basis including induction procedures.
  • Foster effective external networks with service providers, professional advisors and external stakeholders to ensure access to people and ideas that help resource and develop the business to external best practice standards.
  • Take an active role in integrating our new HRIS system (Itrent) across the Group.
  • Know key staff at our homes
  • Ensure legal compliance is met in all HR activities.
  • Understand key challenges of the care homes industry and provide timely relevant reports to the management team.
  • Effective management of departmental budget
  • Challenge the Board where appropriate and suggest alternative paths.
  • Continuously review the responsibilities of the HR department and make bold decisions when necessary.
  • Lead, drive and deliver HR projects and initiatives (could include merger, acquisition, TUPE and organisational change activity including redundancies and closures.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a HR leadership role in agile, multisite commercial organisations including at least 3 years' experience in the care industry in the UK.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified with evidence of continuous professional development
  • Experience of performance management and working within defined policies and procedures
  • Driving licence need to travel extensively
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business
  • Forward thinking and the ability to challenge or question the norm
  • The ability to manage and drive plans, programmes and services in a timely, structured manner
  • Professional and approachable with the ability to work under pressure
