Responsibilities:

Attendance Monitoring:


  • Implement and oversee effective attendance monitoring systems.
  • Identify and address patterns of nonattendance, working closely with students, parents, and teachers to resolve issues.

Safeguarding:


  • Act as a key point of contact for safeguarding concerns, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to address and manage safeguarding issues promptly and effectively.

Data Management:


  • Maintain accurate attendance records and generate reports for school leadership and relevant authorities.
  • Manage confidential safeguarding records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Intervention and Support:


  • Implement targeted interventions to support students with attendance challenges.
  • Work closely with pastoral teams to identify and address underlying issues affecting attendance.

Communication:


  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a culture of attendance and wellbeing.
  • Communicate effectively with external agencies involved in safeguarding matters.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Thorough understanding of attendance monitoring procedures and safeguarding protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to attendance and safeguarding in schools.

Job Types:

Salary:
£31,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
