HEAD OF MARKETING & GROWTHScale up fintech

BASED CITY, LONDON
Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for leading and developing the marketing activity (aimed at the SME market).
The business is developing a market leading digital platform, has a track record of successful lending to SMEs and developing partnerships with leading UK banks.
Reporting to the CEO, you will design, support and deliver marketing strategies across the business to drive revenue growth across the UK initially
You will be responsible for translating business objectives into marketing strategies and go-to-market plans to ensure that brand perception, customer and partner acquisition and retention goals are achieved
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering a scalable inbound lead generation strategy to help drive the growth of the business
- Develop, design, and execute marketing plans and tactics across the entire marketing mix, including content marketing (e.g. blogs, thought leadership, white papers, webinars, videos, etc.)
- Working with the leadership team to create compelling content to support leadgeneration campaigns and audience growth.
- Building strong, trusted internal stakeholder relationships with the sales teams.
- Design and control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
About you:
- Strong experience at a senior level in marketing, with a proven track record in marketing financial services (B2B) or fintech environment
- Ideally you will have experience in a startup or scaleup business or launching a new business
- A healthy interest in martech and growth hacking tactics
- Experienced using marketing automation platforms eg.
- Strong appreciation for the importance of brand and ideally with experience of raising the brand profile of either a new business, rebranded business or challenger brand
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with natural storytelling abilities
- Track record of planning and executing resultsdriven marketing campaigns with experience working with or managing agencies.
- Demonstrable experience in the development and delivery of successful datadriven marketing plans
- Experience in CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
- Ability to report and present to senior management
- Proven experience hiring and leading skilled and effective teams, adept at identifying and bringing out the necessary skill sets.
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords is preferred
