Grosvenor Consulting are currently searching for a Head of Quality for a leading Ed Tech business based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful organisation as it continues to expand in the GCC and further afield.


The Head of Quality is responsible for developing quality standards for products and markets in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.

The role will also be responsible to lead strategies that close the gap on defined quality metrics (i.e. inefficiencies,operational errors and product/content defects).


Process and Standardization

  • Implements organizational quality measures in line with international best practices.
  • Implement standards such as ISO, EFQM, Six Sigma and other models and strategies to establish consistent, efficient, quality driven modes of operation
  • Lead the formal accreditation process for targeted quality certificates and oversees ongoing adherence to accreditation standards
  • Ensure quality management systems drive compliance to all applicable regulations in a manner that is scalable and appropriate for the organization and product portfolio
  • Establish and promote quality standards through Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies in collaboration with program and division leaders

Business Improvement

  • Identify and target business improvement opportunities across all departments to enable greater efficiency, quality output and effectiveness to achieve our goals.
  • Monitor, analyze, report and effectively use data to steer operational efficiency, increase customer satisfaction and reduce risk
  • Act as an independent review and evaluation leader to ensure that quality issues and concerns within the organization are appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved
  • Facilitate cross-functional analysis of key operational functions across all divisions to identify opportunities to better align the approach to quality and efficiency

Experience & Skills - Head of Quality

  • MBA a strong advantage
  • Bachelor degree in relevant field (quality, data, systems) required
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification a strong advantage
  • Lean Certification a strong advantage
  • ISO Certification a strong advantage
  • 10 years relevant experience performing quality related operations
  • 5 years relevant experience leading implementation and management of quality models, tools, and systems
  • 5 years experience leading both formal and informal teams
  • Previous experience working in education, publishing, and/or technology industries a strong advantage

Technical Skills Required

  • Deep knowledge of quality management models and tools
  • Deep knowledge of statistical analysis software and tools
  • Previous experience using MS Dynamics or equivalent ERP
  • Working knowledge of digital publishing methodologies an advantage
  • Ability to comprehend technical information related to analytical methods, processes and regulatory requirements and policies
