Anderson Knight are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known client for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Eurocentral.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for (but not limited to):- Processing purchase invoices
- Processing staff expenses
- Managing petty cash
- Reconciling all bank transactions
- Preparing weekly payment reports for management
- Ad hoc support with purchase ledger and sales ledger, including credit control
- Assisting with VAT accounting, ensuring that the appropriate VAT codes are applied to financial transactions
- Support monthend and yearend processes
- Support annual audit processes
- Assisting the Finance department with ad hoc projects and the deployment of system enhancements.
About You:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
- Relevant experience in this or a similar role is preferred
- Experience with purchase ledger and sales ledger management
- Ability to understand, question, organise and challenge a range of financial data
- Ability to present ideas and information, tailored for each audience
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, as well as a keen eye for detail
- Highly organised with diligent and acute attention to detail
- Proven ability to work as part of a small, successful team
- Strong time management and task management abilities
Job Types:

Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
