Teaching Assistant - Radlett

Are you looking to start your career in education as a Teaching Assistant? Do you live in the Hertfordshire area?
We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work within a fantastic SEN School, local to Radlett. This is a full time, Monday to Friday position (09:00 - 16:00).

No previous experience working in a school required, provided that you have a passion for working with children and are willing to train up.

The role:


  • Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism on a 1:1 basis
  • Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
  • Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class
  • Willing to complete 2 week training on how best to support students with SEN
  • Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised

Requirements:


  • Passion for working with children and/or young adults
  • Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children
  • Live local to Radlett
