Job Description:

Vacancy for 3 apprentices with the Clay Cross Quality Department.

The roles will be a cross over between manufacturing and technical quality and will include:

Measurement and analysis of manufactured components, subassemblies and finished products in both fabrication and welding environments
Performance measurement and analysis of finished product to ensure compliance with both legal and specification requirements.
Calibration of measurement instruments and gauges
Report writing
Involvement in technical risk management processes
Involvement in statistical process control
Involvement in problem solving processes and techniques
Involvement with other departments on site in relation to product and process improvement.

Qualifications:

GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English as a minimum
GCSE grade 4 in Engineering would be beneficial but not essential

Additional Information

39 hours per week, 05:45-14:15 Monday-Thursday, 05:45-10:45 Friday when on site, hours for college dates will differ.
