About:


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales co-ordinator to work for global organisation operating closely with the customer and various internal departments both locally & globally to define and administer their requirements.


Main Duties, Responsibilities and Key Activities:

  • Product definition and interpretation of customer requirements.
  • Processing customer enquiries through existing CRM software including preparation of cost calculations.
  • Creation, submission and follow up of customer quotations.
  • Creation and maintenance of customer master data in CRM and SAP software.
  • Processing of customer demand in SAP
  • Provide customer support after receipt of order
  • Creation of material master and Bill of Material data in SAP
  • Digital document archiving
  • In line with the company sales strategy research, target and contact defined new customers and market sectors

Continuous Improvement
Take an active role in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. The adoption of best practices including the Production System, 5S, 6 Sigma, Problem Solving, etc, etc)


Product Quality


Support the Quality Engineer and operational departments to ensure that appropriate understanding of product quality is maintained and continually monitored thus ensuring that the requirements of our customers are adequately met.


Reporting and Meetings


In conjunction with the various project teams provide appropriate weekly or monthly statistics and narrative relevant to the defined reporting period.

Furthermore, understand the various departmental KPI's, strategic objectives and where required actively participate in planned and ad-hoc meetings and discussions.


Customer Visits
On an as required basis participate in customer meetings at both internal & customer sites.


Training
On an as required basis actively participate in training sessions. Training may take place at your normal place of work, or third party site.


Health & Safety
To personally operate within the health and safety guidelines and to ensure that any visitors under your control are suitable protected and cared for whilst on our premises (fire drills, safety clothing / glasses etc, etc)


About you

  • Desirable qualifications, 5 GCSE's grade C and above including Maths and English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to use software such as SAP and Microsoft Suite
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial working for a company in a engineering field
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks and prioritise accordingly
  • Full UK driving license and the ability to travel for customer visits and ongoing training requirements

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Engineering Sales: 1 year (preferred)
