Description

Our testing team screens and tests all blood that comes into the centre, ensuring that all blood and blood group products are safe to go on and be used to save patients lives.

Youll provide vital support to qualified scientific staff as they undertake specialised work in our laboratories. Specifically, that means preparing samples for testing or storage, performing analytical tests and carrying out basic maintenance on equipment.

Youll also be on hand to generate reports or worksheets and deal with queries from other departments, medical staff or visitors To be considered youll need an A level or NVQ level 3 in a Science subject, or experience of working within the NBS.

Alternatively, youll either hold or be working towards a Foundation Degree. Flexible in your approach and a good team player, you must be able to keep clear, accurate records.
