Agile PMO Lead
Location - Flexible (travel to Coventry will be required)
Contract Type - Permanent
Salary - Up to £65,000
This person will:
- Ensure activities are successfully delivered and managed within budget.
- Creates, implements, drives and develops competent and compliant service.
- Drives and delivers brilliant customer service in line with expectations, operating at all times with a sense of purpose.
- Utilising accurate data to drive initiatives to improve performance.
- Designs, drives and ensures delivery to key improvement initiatives. Championing knowledge share and continual improvement throughout.
- Manage, develop, and engage team to deliver objectives compliantly.
- Drive and implement required H&S at all times reducing risk to colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
Functional Accountabilities:
- Accountable for leading the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) & Agile PMO (Programme Management Office) operating model
- Accountable for establishing a Cadent IT Portfolio connected to the Cadent Enterprise Strategy.
- Accountable owner of the processes and ceremonies that set Strategy & Investment Funding with Lean Budgets for Product Lines with clear guardrails
- Accountable for leading an Agile PMO establishing the portfolio flow and providing portfolio monitoring, governance, and reporting activities. Leading the LPM cadence and governance events
- Accountable for running the Lean Governance processes; including: Dynamic Budgets and Forecasting / Measuring portfolio and Product Line Performance / Implementing a lean continuous compliance governance model that minimises overhead and maximises the flowof value
- Accountable for team development, guidance and mentoring to junior team members
- Accountable for the overall monitoring and performance reporting across the IT Product Lines against determined KPIs as agreed with capability leaders and as directed by the Director of Solution Delivery.
- Accountable for financial monitoring against IT budgets and agreed investments, aligning and profiling spend against the investment plans & Product Line roadmaps.
Specialist Accountabilities:
- Accountable for providing expertise and best practice on agile specifically SAFe LPM, shares knowledge, lessons learned and advice on tools such as Jira
- Accountable for establishing the measurements and controls necessary to sustain the beneficial impacts of change beyond the life of the initial delivery. Support the move towards Organisational Agility through relevant governance and reporting.
- Oversee the management of process documentation and appropriate product & project documentation and information sources utilising specialist tooling such as JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint
- Accountable that the APMO team produce and automate dashboards & reports as required.
- Accountable for assurance against best practice and APMO process; ensure all SAFe and Agile ceremonies are well prepared and executed across the Product Lines and Scrum Teams. Manage the cadence and execution of the PI events.
- Take ownership and responsibility to see governance problems through to conclusion.
- Ensure retrospectives are scheduled, documented and all actions followed through to conclusion.
Technical skills:
Demonstrably experienced in tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePo
