A London market insurance business is recruiting for a Tax Manager to fill a newly created position supporting the Head of Tax.


As Tax Manager you will work on all tax compliance and advisory matters across all group entities including Indirect (VAT, IPT) and Direct (Corporate Income Taxes, DPT, Transfer Pricing and international tax) as required and provide tax support on all group wide projects.


You will also support the Head of Tax with queries relating to the tax function for some overseas entities including Corporation Tax, Wealth Tax, IPT, VAT, SAO, R&D, Country-by-Country reporting and Lloyd's tax reporting.


Suitable applicants will hold a relevant professional qualification and have at least 4+ years of experience working across a broad spectrum of Taxes within the financial services industry (either in-house or from Practice), with knowledge of Direct and Indirect tax and have had some exposure to / an understanding of International Tax e.g.

CFCs, DPT, withholding taxes and transfer pricing.


Insurance experience preferred and any exposure to the Lloyd's market would be particularly advantageous but applicants from the wider Financial Services sector will be considered.
