International Corporate Banking Business Manager

London

As a Barclays International Corporate Banking Business Manager (BM), you will report into UK Business Management Team and partner closely with ICB Business Managers and Coverage.

This is a great opportunity for you to act as an advisor to the head of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Coverage and provide commercial and administrative support to the sales teams based in the UK who cover FIG clients.

What will you be doing?

Being responsible for preparing monthly analysis of business performance, and providing insights to the leadership team
Managing the preparation and coordination of materials to support senior leadership meetings and communications
Supporting leadership with resolution of ICB wide issues
Being responsible for ensuring that resources are deployed to clients/sectors identified as priorities (using the tiring process)
Helping leadership control their costs (including headcount, discretionary spend)
Being responsible for planning, leading and execution of strategic projects, deal tracking and pipeline reporting
Supporting sales teams with various tools (CRM Salesforce, Tableau, Business Objects)
Putting forward options/recommendations based on evaluation and analysis and be expected to challenge any obstacles

What we're looking for:

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with a willingness to learn and challenge, drive and embrace business change
Experience of tracking and delivering long term and short term projects and an ability to lead a project team
General understanding of key business performance metrics, including income, balances and returns
Proven ability to take on ambiguous tasks, without the requirement for structure and process, and then deliver with clear/meaningful output in a style suitable for the intended audience

Skills that will help you in the role:

Knowledge and understanding of Corporate Banking products and services
Experience working in business or business partnering or strategy or finance roles
