Reception Welcome HostWe are looking for a Reception Welcome Host to join our team in a leading global social media brand that provides an unique and exciting working environment.

Not only are the buildings colourful, well designed and full of ample treats - but the people also portray this culture within a can do attitude and positive working ethos.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm, courteous and prompt welcome on arrival for all visitors for meetings, training. Be reliable, flexible, honest and a strong advocate for Portico
  • At all times ensure you provide a consistent service
  • Ensure that you are Security conscious
  • Take ownership of the reception service, including events related responsibilities
  • Greet and process guests and vendors entering the organisation and notify hosts of arrival
  • Actively and positively engage with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless service experience
  • Ensure that all visitors and personnel are dealt with efficiently so that an exceptional high standard of service is provided at all times, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure that they are completed, exceeding their expectations where possible
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Manage high volume lobby whilst simultaneously keeping reception organized
  • Trouble shoot client and visitor problems using research and problem solving skills
  • Support your colleagues and assist in the coaching of New Starters to pass their probation period
  • Interact with all levels of Management, personnel and customersPeople/ Interpersonal Skills & Experience:
  • Outgoing, warm, confident, enthusiastic with a passion for customer services
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and willing to go above and beyond for our clients
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently face to face or over the telephone
  • Able to engage with other people to build empathy and rapport
  • Immaculate personal presentation & appearance
  • An excellent customer focused manner at all times
  • Ability to be proactive
  • A keen eye for detail
  • To respond to all queries and requests in an appropriate and timely manner
