Managing Surveyor

Timberwise are now recruiting for a Managing Surveyor in the North East region (There will be a need to travel throughout the region).
The role of the Managing Surveyor will include:
- Managing, motivating building and maintaining the team.
- Ensuring H & S regulations and safe working practices are promoted at all times
- Promoting excellent customer service at all times
- Managing full branch Profit and Loss
- Developing commercial sector clients
- Training and development of all staff
- Monthly meetings with Branch Sales Surveyors to ensure achievement of KPI's
- Undertaking Surveyor 121s and annual assessments and check ins
- Managing overdue debt and non/part invoicing
- Complaint management and resolution
- Branch specific site meetings and preengagement meetings
- Coaching and on going mentoring of new surveyors
- Supporting the administration team
- Regular site visits with Technicians and Surveyors
- Achieving individual Sales target
- Recruiting in line with Budget
- Experience in Timber and Damp, Waterproofing and/or Property Surveying capabilities.
- Good knowledge of Building Construction
- A sales and development background, preferably in a similar product area
- Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
- Experience of contract/site management
- A passion for sales and to be able to demonstrate enthusiasm in their role
- Experience in liaising internally and externally on all technical matters
- A team player with a Can-Do attitude and a willingness to succeed
