Description

Despatch Coordinator (Temporary)

Main duties include:


  • Check the daily order book and prioritise workload according to the orders for the day
  • Leiase with the customer services team of any issues relating to shipment.
  • Support with paperwork and processing
  • Ensuring that as soon as packing & collation sheets are received that the despatch and invoice paperwork is raised
  • Chase any shipments that have not been collected
  • Book external transportation
  • Adhere to QHSE and other company policies and procedures
  • Support the needs of the business by undertaking any task as requested by management provided the task is within your capability and appropriate training is provided

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required

  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft office; Word, Excel etc.(Essential)
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to input large amounts of data quickly and accurately. (Essential)
  • Experience working in logistics/despatch (Essential)
  • Highly organised with an ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines and targets. (Essential)
  • Experience of SAP systems.
  • Experience in raising/processing invoices.
  • The job holder is expected to be able to work in a manufacturing environment,

From £12.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fort Road, BN17 7QU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Logistics/Despatch: 1 year (preferred)
