Nine Twenty are working continually with our Carton Printing Manufacturing client to join their new state-of-the-art facility based in Livingston.

This is an exciting time to join the business and due to their growth and investment they are looking for a Reprographics Design Operator to join their team permanently.

You must come from a background in Reprographics or Graphic design with an understanding of print and printing techniques such as foil blocking, embossing and die cutting.

Responsibilities:

Work with sales and clients to develop structural carton design
Use a range of software tools to develop client concepts from supplied artwork through to print ready files for internal and client sign off
Produce technical reviews of artworks to ensure the best possible results are achieved within printing, foil blocking and substrate constraints
Colour management, colour profiling and preparing customer proofs using industry leading tools
Maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of artwork whilst working to tight deadlines
Produce print plates, order tooling etc. to fully prepare jobs for production
Accurately manage and administrate projects from conception to completion

Experience required:

Degree qualified in some form of Print/Art/Design with at least 1 year industry experience OR previous experience within a similar role
Some knowledge in for example artwork, prepress, repro, litho print, foil blocking, embossing/debossing, cutting & gluing across paper based substrates
Experience in artwork development
Experience in for example
Illustrator or Photoshop or AutoCAD
