Description
We are looking for experienced and ambitiousPSV Mechanic to join Arriva, based at our
Milton Keynes Depot, a comprehensive commercial workshop with a great team ethos.
As a PSV Mechanic, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).
As a team, we are dedicated to working towards delivering a safe, reliable, clean and efficient service to meet the needs of our customers.
Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition.

The role will involve:
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks
- Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA)
- Shift work required
Requirements:
- Qualifications for HGV/PSV maintenance and repair
- Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent qualification (will require confirmation)
- A full UK driving licence (6 points or less)
- Ability to be passed fit for a preemployment medical
