Are you looking for a research role in polymer chemistry which will develop your leadership skills and independence? We have an exciting opportunity in the Department of Chemistry for a talented polymer chemist with a passion for sustainability and highly motivated for a future research career.


You will be based in the Department of Chemistry and in the Polymer Cluster which is UK leading and recognised internationally.

95 per cent of our research was rated in the highest two categories in the Research Excellence Framework 2021, meaning it is classed as world-leading or internationally excellent.


This is a great opportunity for you to develop further leadership skills in thinking and managing on the pathway towards an independent research career.

You will already have a PhD in polymer chemistry with expertise in different polymerisation techniques and 5 years' post-doctoral experience in a range of different groups and institutions.

While being creative and skilled at solving problems, you will also be a team player - motivated to develop others.
