What you'll be doing

As an experienced production professional you will work across a broad range of projects, primarily illustrated books and non-book gift products.

You will plan, control and carry out all production tasks of pre-press and manufacturing to ensure cost-effective, timely and quality production of new publications, gift products, co editions and reprints.

This role is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant and creative contribution to the production of some of the most engaging and eye-catching projects from this award-winning publisher.

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you

Are an experienced four colour production professional with sound technical knowledge of print and how books are made.
Can effectively manage your own list of new titles as well as coeditions and reprints.
Can prepare and advise on print specifications which are eyecatching and commercially viable.
Are a natural communicator confident in building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Can confidently spot buy and negotiate the best prices while maintaining high levels of quality and timely delivery.
Thrive in a busy team environment where you are encouraged to solve problems collaboratively.
Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule workload, multitask and meet deadlines.

Essential for the role:

Proficient user of Adobe InDesign.
Knowledge of toy safety testing.

Desirable but not essential for the role:

Experience of using Biblio.
Experience of other Adobe Creative Suite software.
