What you'll be doing

As an experienced production professional you will work across a broad range of projects, primarily illustrated books and non-book gift products.


You will plan, control and carry out all production tasks of pre-press and manufacturing to ensure cost-effective, timely and quality production of new publications, gift products, co editions and reprints.


This role is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant and creative contribution to the production of some of the most engaging and eye-catching projects from this award-winning publisher.

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you

  • Are an experienced four colour production professional with sound technical knowledge of print and how books are made.
  • Can effectively manage your own list of new titles as well as coeditions and reprints.
  • Can prepare and advise on print specifications which are eyecatching and commercially viable.
  • Are a natural communicator confident in building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Can confidently spot buy and negotiate the best prices while maintaining high levels of quality and timely delivery.
  • Thrive in a busy team environment where you are encouraged to solve problems collaboratively.
  • Have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule workload, multitask and meet deadlines.

Essential for the role:

  • Proficient user of Adobe InDesign.
  • Knowledge of toy safety testing.

Desirable but not essential for the role:

  • Experience of using Biblio.
  • Experience of other Adobe Creative Suite software.
