Back-end Programmer

Remote (UK)

£30,000 to £45,000 DOE
Back-end Programmer required to join an exciting fast paced start-up company.

In this role you will play a big part of a small team, you will gain experience developing and building a virtual world.

Our client has a list of blue-chip contracts they havebeen building on. You will be developing for console, PC and mobile. This company is on a mission to transform the Metaverse industry.


Some of what you will be doing:

  • Enhancing and building on the high-fidelity virtual world
  • Utilising NoSQL databases
  • Developing realtime REST API's on the server
  • Configuring in Linux/Ubuntu
  • Automating builds

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

  • Experience with
  • Understanding of Javascript and JSON
  • Previous use of Async Library
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, GitLab and Google cloud

It would be great if you also had:

  • Unreal engine experience
  • Knowledge of cryptography
  • Desire to learn and develop in a startup
