CREDIT CONTROLLER / PERMANENT / BARDON - COALVILLE / OFFICE BASED / UP TO £25,000
Macildowie are excited to be working with this exclusive client as they search for an experienced credit controller.

This role requires an experienced (ideally stand alone) credit controller who is able to use their own initiative and be persistent with query resolution, which may mean knocking on a few doors internally to ensure your customers are dealt with efficientlyand with care.

Responsibilities will include:

Cash Collection (proactive through to litigation):
By telephone
By generation of standard dunning letters
Dispute management
Weekly, monthly, and adhoc management reporting
Ensuring compliance with our risk insurance policy
Ongoing credit and risk assessment to reduce probability of bad debt
Controlling customer account balances against credit limits
Implementing action plans to facilitate collection of overdue and overexposed balances
Referral of accounts to debt recovery specialist should internal collection efforts fail

Knowledge and Experience

Essential_
A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control (preferably in a standalone role).
Experience of the full credit control cycle up to and including instructing solicitors to aid in debt recovery.
IT literate with solid experience of Microsoft packages

- specifically Excel (vlookups & pivot tables a must).
