Teaching Assistant, Secondary, SEN - September

The Role:
To assist the Class Teacher or Subject Teacher in the teaching and learning in the classroom.
Whilst previous experience of working in a TA role would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.

- Core hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Wednesday and on Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young
contact.
- If designated to a particular child, work mainly with that child and

- Assist the teacher in classroom tasks, including keeping the

Minimum Requirements:
- Natural ability when working with young people
- Passion for helping and supporting children develop confidence and achieve
Desirable, but not essential:
- TA Experience, qualifications
- SEN Experience
Successful applicants will be required to undertake various background checks including obtaining a DBS, if they do not hold a valid certificate that is on the update service.
