Penguin Recruitment are excited to be working with a UK leading, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in their search for a Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer in Birmingham.

Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy who deliver creative solutions for clients in the residential, educational, industrial and commercial property sectors.

They specialise in providing new development, regeneration and refurbishment services inboth the public and private sectors.

Applicants are required to have a strong academic background which includes a BSc, BEng or higher qualification in relevant field, such as geology, environmental science etc.

Additionally, you should have a Full UK Drivers Licence and should be willing totravel.

The main duties of the role include:

Supervising site investigations
Reviewing Phase 1 and 2 reports
Geotechnical design of foundations
Contamination assessments and compiling remediation strategies.
Working closely with the Ground engineering Director
Advising and managing junior engineers
