A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to come and join a well-established and high performing team This is with a highly successful and rapidly growing company within healthcare manufactures looking to bring in a Procurement Manager.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Takes a lead role with stakeholders (functional, procurement and supplier), defines and implements effective procurement strategies to deliver a programme of transformation and risk mitigation
- Leads an appropriate sourcing process (including planning, defining business needs, assessing supply market, defining strategy, execution, supplier selection and contracting) that delivers the right level of service
- Leverages changes in supply market and demand conditions to deliver innovative services and commercial solutions
- Oversees contracts to ensure all obligations are fulfilled, risks are mitigated and contracts remain valid throughout their lifecycle. Holds internal organisation and suppliers to account for their actions (including contract management programme)
- Leads initiative specific teams across multiple business units and/or countries and navigates cultural differences to ensure timely and appropriate conclusions
- Experienced within Procurement Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of drafting and creating contracts
- Ready to take risks and learn from their mistakes
- Have an analysis and problem solving mindset
- Leadership experience
- CIPS would be beneficial
