Job Details
Our client, a Barristers Chambers are now seeking a Personal Assistant to support a Barrister on a 1-1 basis with professional and personal support, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing professional and personal diary
- Scheduling meetings booking meeting rooms, assisting in preparation and circulation of meeting papers
- Inbox management
- Case management
- General administration updating spreadsheets and databases
- Purchasing office supplies
- Travel organisation to include creating itineraries, organising permits and Visas
- Liaising with the marketing team to keep CV/website up to date
- Electronic and hard copy filing
- Monitoring expenses liaising with accounts to submit tax/VAT returns, assisting with processing of invoices
- Personal errands
- Overseeing personal property bills and monitoring staff pay dates
- Assisting with personal shopping, event bookings, holiday planning and assisting family with adhoc tasks
- Organising personal health/car insurance etc
Key skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar role
- Highly organised with strong communication skills
- Proactive with the ability to anticipate needs
- Ability to work to own initiative
