**IT TechnicianPrincipal Objectives:
- To provide an outstanding and efficient level of IT support to all staff.
- To ensure all IT support needs are logged, investigated and resolved in a timely manner or escalated where appropriate using our ticketing system.
- Provide 1st Line Support to the employees.
- To image, deploy and maintain workstations, mobile devices and touchscreen computers around the site
- Check the system for any potential misuse and report to the IT Manager
- To upgrade computer hardware as appropriate or replace hardware that maybe damaged/ broken
- Help to create and maintain an IT asset inventory with lists of devices and serial numbers for insurance purposes
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training activities
- Help maintain an organised Purchase Requisition catalog
- To have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows software
- To contact Third Parties to retrieve Quotes / Information for the IT Department Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- You will be able to demonstrate good knowledge and recent experience of:
- Microsoft Windows, Office and other desktop related software products
- Windows Server Platform, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP
- Administering AD login accounts
- You must have excellent troubleshooting skills, backed by a clear, analytical approach to problem solving
- You must be selfmotivated, driven and have a cando attitude
- You must have a proven track record of balancing priorities and managing timescales
- Be flexible and adaptive to the role and be prepared to on some occasions assist the IT Manager 'out of hours'
- You need to be a confident communicator and have excellent verbal and written communication skills will enable you to confidently deal with all levels of internal colleagues
- You will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
