Astrum MAT is seeking to appoint a hardworking School Cleaner who is conscientious and has high standards, who will enjoy being part of a team that provide cleaning services within specified areas of our school (areas will vary from time to time).


You will need to be flexible during the school holidays and change working times to accommodate specific deep cleaning duties and to fit around the use of the buildings and where required to assist with staff shortfalls or emergency situations.


Daily routines:

  • Wash and buff all classroom floors
  • Hoover carpets in classrooms
  • Clean sinks and taps
  • Wash all toilet floors
  • Wash sinks, taps, pans and cistern in toilets
  • Wash and buff corridor

Weekly routines:

  • Dust window ledges in classrooms
  • Wash all metal work on changing beds
  • Dust tops of toilet cubicles and pipe work
