Description

Working as an integral part of the multidisciplinary Oncology team the specialist nurse will have a key role in leading nursing developments and improvements in the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of care for patients undergoing chemotherapy for solid tumours, both day patients and outpatients.

The post holder will have a major role in providing education and training for other health care professionals, as well as leading and contributing to the provision of expert nursing care to patients.

The role requires the post holder to work within the clinical area when necessary.


You assist the Chemotherapy ANP with the day to day management of the Solid Tumour Chemotherapy Service and supervision of junior staff within this area.
