The post of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to oversee and co-ordinate the provision of an efficient, high quality and cost effective Housekeeping service to all Wards and Departments on site and, where applicable, to off-site locations, under the direction of the Team Leader and Facilities Manager, and to promote excellent standards of team working and Customer Care.
Ensuring that hospital Wards, Clinics and Departments are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene, environmental cleanliness and appearance and leading the Housekeeping team in delivering high quality services to all areas; supporting the delivery of service modernisation and National Initiatives.
You will be seen across the site and will be required to carry out your work so that the standards set and the wide range of services provided support patient care and the needs of other hospital users.
The post holder is expected to treat patients, service users and carers with courtesy, care and compassion at all times, treating each person as an individual by offering a personalised service.
Trust staff will adopt behaviours and attitudes which promote, supports and respects privacy and dignity in accordance with the Trust Dignity policies and dignity in care pledges.
Staff are expected to challenge poor practice in relation to dignity and treat each other with respect.Posts available are as follows:
16.25 hours per week 07:00-12:30/ weekend
35.6 hours per week
29.5 hours per week
31.5 hours per week
