Due to continued business growth, we have a new opportunity for a
Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor to join our dedicated team which works remotely in the South region.
The role is varied and can involve visiting multiple sites each day to undertake water system monitoring and maintenance tasks.
Reporting into the Risk Assessment Supervisor some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Undertake site risk assessment and risk assessment review surveys of water services in accordance with the latest version of the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP)
Safe Water in Healthcare Premises as necessary.
- Completion of schematic drawings in accordance with guidance requirements.
- Produce timely and accurate reports detailing remedial actions and maintenance regime for clients.
- Provide technical support where required.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of the Health Technical Memorandum 0401: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of cooling towers, process systems and other systems (desirable but not essential)
- Able to prioritise multiple and varied challenging situations.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent organisation and time keeping skills working to deadlines.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Selfmotivated, using own initiative, desire to learn and achieve.
- You may be required to travel around your region with the need for an occasional overnight stay.
