A well established manufacturing company based in Leicester are looking for a Inspector to start asap

Shift Pattern:
Continental Night Shift to 06.00 Monday to Thursday with a 20 minute unpaid break


Salary:
£16.58 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) - rising to £17.48 per hour once fully competent

Location:
Leicester - LE3 1UQ


Opportunity Summary:
We have two vacancies within our Inspection Department and are currently recruiting for the role an Inspector.

Role Accountabilities:
Ensure that Inspection tasks are carried out as defined by the Job Card narrative, work instruction or customer drawing
Carry out 1st off, 100% visual and dimensional inspection, receipt inspection and CEO where required
Ensure any non-conforming parts are sentenced in accordance with the non-conformance process and key information is provided by Shop Floor personnel
Work as part of a team with colleagues to maximise factory efficiency
Be involved and carry out gauge R & R activities when required.

Person Specification:
Understanding of PCDIMIS operation (CMM)
Apprentice trained but not essential
Worked within an Aerospace/Automotive production environment for a number of years
Proven track record on inspection techniques and understanding of geometric tolerance.
An understanding and alignment to our Values; Respect, Integrity, Safety and Excellence.
