Description

We aim to provide long term, nurturing home and day education for young people aged years with autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and associated needs, enabling our young people to develop and grow, to build transferable skills to be able to live as independently as possible when they reach adulthood.

The home is part of Val's Community and our VALs ethos (Validate Achieve Live) and values (High expectations, Empathy, Ambitious, Respect, Thriving) are at the HEART of everything we do, and we are looking to recruit staff who can demonstrate these values.

All we need to do is care enough, and have the imagination to make it happen, and believe me we do

We know that a good home for children and young people isn't complicated, but that's not to say that it's easy.

What we believe in is caring. Caring honestly, caring consistently, caring conspicuously, caring personally, and yes when it comes to it, caring fiercely. We know that the best professionals are great not just because of their learning but because they care.

So if you can care in the good times and the bad, and you're ready to be the person that sees an individual full of possibility and potential, as opposed to a person full of judgments and labels, then come and talk to us about getting on board, and validate your own potential as a professional so that you can go home and say "I did something good today"

We are looking for enthusiastic people, with a big heart, to bring their personality, skills and experience to work and help our children and young people develop, grow and have fulfilling childhoods.
