£25,301 - £28,46- Plus £5,000 Market Supplement.


Contract: 37.00 hours.**

Position Overview:

As a Motor Vehicle Assessor with City of Bristol College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the automotive industry.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is willing to travel nationwide to meet with apprentices and employers, providing both pastoral and technical support to apprentices in the workplace.

This role is not just about assessing; it's about inspiring and guiding the next generation of automotive talent.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Travel throughout the country to visit apprentices and employers, ensuring a consistent and highquality learning experience.
  • Conduct assessments of apprentices in the workplace, evaluating their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to apprentices, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with employers to understand their needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and feedback.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and developments to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a passion for motor vehicles.

Qualifications:


  • A deep passion and enthusiasm for the automotive industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in motor vehicle maintenance or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a motor vehicle assessor or similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire apprentices to excel in their training.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively nationwide.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
