Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;

To carry out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations

Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;

To carry out maintenance and construction works above and beyond below.

Where required, to respond to incidents and call outs during or out of hours as required and assist with Winter Maintenance.

Current Driving Licence

Highways experience

Positive work ethic and enthusiastic

Civil Based Tickets/Experience in masonry, machine surfacing, mini-planning etc, crossover builds

Ability to supervise other operatives and provide on site training if required

Prepared to contribute to and participate fully in team work

Prepared to work varying hours to meet the needs of the business

Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training and qualifications

Able to complete record sheets, paper or electronic inc. Tablet device
***
Able to take responsibility for plant, equipment and vehicle defect inspections

Must be able to meet and exceed output target
