We have an exciting opportunity available to join a well-established company on a 12m Fixed Term Maternity Contract in Welwyn Garden City Working as part of a friendly, experienced and dynamic team, you will be responsible for supporting a team with all aspects of financial administration.


Purchase Ledger Administrator - The Details

  • 12m FTC Maternity contract
  • Working hours 8:00am 5:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Potential for Hybrid working after completion of probation

Purchase Ledger Administrator - Job Overview
As a
Purchase Ledger Administrator your duties will include;

  • Updating and maintaining the department purchase order system
  • Provide purchase order numbers where required to team members, suppliers & subcontractors
  • Monitor the forecasted values to enable as accurate as possible monthly profit prediction
  • Ensure all works and callouts are accounted for and logged on to the system
  • Receiving all invoices in to the department and ensuring all are chased and received each month
  • Check all invoices and costs are correct in line with current agreed charges
  • Ensure all invoices are entered into and raised in Sage
  • Ensure all invoices are sent out in the relevant method as specifically requested by customers
  • Resolve customer / contractor / supplier invoice queries in a timely manner

Purchase Ledger Administrator - Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in finance would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring information is accurate
