SRM are delighted to be recruiting a Group Reporting Accountant role for our client, a fast growth business, who are based in Stevenage.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with management accounting, group reporting and strong controls, processes,and continuous improvement experience.

There is great scope for this role to be involved in projects as the business grows via acquisition and to support M&A activities and transformation projects and make a real impact in this high-profile role with exposureto senior management.

A fantastic move for a newly qualified ACA looking to make their first move out of practice into industry.

The Role:
This exciting new Group Reporting Accountant role will be based in Stevenage offering hybrid working and reporting into the Head of Reporting & Controls and will be responsible for:

Month end reporting and analysis for the Head office, providing insightful analysis of month end performance, identifying key variances, underlying causes, risks and opportunities to key stakeholders.
Take full ownership of management accounts for holding companies, prepare and post journals, review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the shared service centre, assist and supply information to auditors for annual audit.
Support on the Strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Group's holding companies.
Involvement in day to day communication with the subsidiaries, sending instructions, handling queries and raising enquiries on the financial submissions received.
Support in the preparation of periodical consolidated reports and commentary to financial information and assist in driving a continuous improvement in financial reporting processes

Profile:

For this Group Reporting Accountant role we are looking for someone (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong management accounting, group reporting and strong controls, processes, and continuous improvement experience ideally in a listed business.
