Protocol Education are looking for a health care teaching assistant to work within a mainstream secondary school located within the Sunderland area.


The client school are ideally looking for a teaching assistant who has experience of working within the care sector as the role may include elements of personal care.

This skillset would be combined with supporting the learning of a young person across the curriculum areas.


The role:

  • Monday-Friday.
  • Working 1:1 with a keen and dedicated student.
  • Opportunity to also work with small groups of children.
  • Free CPD.
  • Supportive Senior Leadership Team.
  • PAYE (no Umbrella companies)
All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant
DBS checks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
