Are you looking to work in new and exciting ways with families in a rewarding and transformational cultural environment?


Bradford Museums & Galleries is seeking a Family Learning Officer to lead a new programme of learning for families as part of our Arts Council England National Portfolio programme.


Recently awarded Arts Council England National Portfolio status we aim to meet the experiential needs of our surrounding communities and help drive forward the museum service's development and leading role for the 2025 City of Culture.


NPO funding acknowledges the potential for our world-class collections and our three year development process will transform the service and see us working with a wide range of local community partners to deliver programmes which are both relevant and engaging for the diverse communities across the District.


The Museums Family Learning Officer will play a key role in the Learning Team and will be working in partnership to ensure that families across Bradford district have access to ambitious, world class art, heritage and cultural learning experiences.

You will be responsible for the development, testing and delivery of new programmes of learning aimed at engaging local families with our exhibitions and collections.**-
You will lead the newly established Family Learning Forum who will consult and support to ensure the programme meets the needs of a wide range of.**-
You will work with wider Museums & Galleries team to build relationships with key stakeholders, including identified community groups, schools, and early years partners and facilitate partnership opportunities with them.**Bradford Museums & Galleries is committed to diversifying our workforce and we are seeking to broaden our thinking and improve representation in our team.


Working across our four venues; Bolling Hall, Bradford Industrial Museum, Cliffe Castle Museum and Cartwright Hall Art Gallery within the Bradford District, you will need to be able to combine high professional standards with great people skills and a flexible and pro active approach to working.
