Acorn Technology is working with a Public Sector body in West Wales to find a Network Administrator to supplement an already talented team.
Main duties/skills:
- Regularly review the network infrastructure to determine any issues or insecurities and liaise with the ICT security and Compliance manager with regards to the findings
- Ensure any ICT requests for support are logged to the ICT helpdesk
- Helping to ensure the current Service objectives are delivered and reported on
- Ensure the effectiveness of the ICT network infrastructure across the service
- Ensure that Switches, Routers, Firewalls and other network infrastructure devices are properly configured and working properly
- Set up, configure and maintain DHCP and DNS servers in a reliable and resilient way
- Create and maintain the Service VLAN scheme
