Position


The Vehicle Personalisation department is looking for a dynamic Subject Matter Expert to drive the strategy and delivery of Electrical commodities.

The role involves working with cross functional areas like Marketing, Design, Core Engineering, Programmeand Finance to develop innovative solutions in a diverse project landscape.

The commodities are delivered for both line and retailer fit, which follow slightly different processes.


Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of delivering and developing Electrical products & new commodity through a crossfunctional team
  • Deep knowledge of Electrical components
  • Experience of authoring DFMEAs, BoDs and Standards
  • Electrical accessory innovation technology
  • Knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing methods, finishing processes.
  • Experience of project engineering within the automotive industry
  • Experience of budget and target management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of authoring formal documentation
  • An individual who is results driven, demonstrates, tenacity, drive and perseverance, with the ability to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environment.
  • An individual who is resilient, energetic and enthusiastic, able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs
  • A good communicator who can communicate complex ideas
  • An effective team player, actively leads, develops and supports team members
  • Ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments

Preferred:


  • Proven ability to build and manage multiple internal and external relationships in complex stakeholder environments
  • Experience of module team delivery
  • Previous SME experience

Education
Degree or relevant equivalent experience
