Start Date will be on or after 01-April-24.To provide a pro-active service to victims of Domestic Abuse to keep them safe.
Support Trust staff in early identification of domestic abuse victims and identification of the most appropriate pathway
The work of the SDAA is distinct in that it assesses the risk a client is in and delivers a service appropriate to the level of risk, offering a priority service to those at high and medium risk.
Whilst dedicated to ULHT/LCHS there is the expectation that you will work with multi-agency partners including LDAS to ensure all agencies do their part and co-ordinate their work to keep people safe.
Provide a high-quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
Managing a caseload; identifying risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
Work with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users to help them access services to keep them safe.
Working within a multi-agency framework to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
Promote awareness of domestic through training and support to Group staff.
Develop effective and constructive relationships within the Group, and other organisations
To work as a member of the wider safeguarding teams.
Provide a source of advice for Domestic abuse related matters
Work with the LDAS service on Individual Support Plans for clients, maintain an ongoing working document through to closure of ULHT/LCHS support or transition to LDAS.
Refer on and arrange meetings with other agencies/services, as necessary, for instance, solicitors, benefit agency etc.
Keep other relevant agencies informed about important changes in client's situation and provide reciprocal information to client.
Fully participate in MARAC process.
