**Physiotherapist - Band 6
Full time, 37.5 hours (part time considered) - ASAP Start****Location: Lansdowne Health Centre

Duties and responsibilities:

Respiratory Assessment Carer Training in Suctioning, Nebulisers, cough assist use Care planning. Manual Techniques

- will work independently to carry out home/community visits

To assess service users and devise personal respiratory physiotherapy plans for Nurses and Healthcare Assistants to follow a source of clinical expertise/advice and guidance for Nurses and Carers and will provide training and competency assessments
To plan, develop, coordinate and manage specialist respiratory physiotherapy provision for a caseload Respiratory problems usually secondary to the primary condition
The children may require secretion management, Tracheostomy Care, have feeding difficulties or be enterally fed, and be at risk of aspiration.
To deliver appropriate respiratory therapy training
To assess, treat and manage children and young people presenting with complex respiratory needs managed in the Children's Complex Care team.
To formulate individualised, innovative management and treatment plans
