Welcome Outreach Officers
£16.35 per hour PAYE - paid weekly

Working hours: 36 hours per week Monday to Friday

Duration: 3 months with the view of extension (this is a project role)

Location:
Stratford/ Beckton/ East Ham/ Plaistow etc.
For this position you must be able to speak Arabic (Farsi, Pashto, Dari)

The Welcome Team is a multilingual team, who co-ordinate and administrate the governments home for Ukraine and Family Visa schemes and offer wrap around support to all new arrivals into the local councils including other refugees and asylum seekers on government resettlement schemes.

The team offer regular check-ins with both sponsors and newly arrived guests by telephone and home visits to provide full support to new residents and ensure that they are given all necessary tolls to settle in the borough.

Duties/ Skills:

Supportive conversations with residents
Updating case manage systems
Giving information, advise and linking residents to support
Raising any safeguarding concerns
