This hands-on role on role will see you being responsible for overseeing the transport and logistics side of the business whilst providing support to the Head of Operations.

This is a critical role within the team, helping to pull everything together andensuring that the best possible service is delivered to customers.


Main responsibilities:

  • Planning and controlling daily activity to ensure all customer deliveries and collections are met
  • Undertaking Deputy Operations Manager tasks
  • Managing a small transport team
  • Ensuring all operational staff are compliant with all Health and Safety rules and guidelines
  • Managing ever changing logístical demands
  • Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and receive service and MOTs on time
  • Monitoring drivers' hours and maintaining uptodate records of driving licences, driver qualifications and any motoring offences incurred by the team


This role is the perfect opportunity to draw on your previous experience working within logistics or transport, delivering operational efficiencies.
