Prime Appointments are pleased to be working with an engineering company in Wickhambrook, Suffolk.

They require an Accounts Administrator to join their team on FTC for at least 12 months starting end of April 2024.

Working 8:00-5:00 Monday - Friday paying £ £12.98 per hour (£27,000pa) depending on experience.


Main duties for this Accounts Administrator position will include but are not limited to:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices and customer sales invoices/commercial invoices/credit notes using the ERP system and Sage software.
  • Credit control ensuring debtors are managed in accordance with company financial procedure.
  • Collect data and complete grant monitoring forms.
  • Process supplier invoices on the ERP system.
  • Liaise with stores if processing issues arises, chase and resolve.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts monthly to ensure all invoices are paid.
  • Send customer statements monthly.
  • Chase overdue invoices internally, then with customers.
  • Collate receipts from credit card holders and process the monthly statement.
  • Undertake general administration duties when necessary.

Key Skills & Attributes needed to be considered for this position:

  • Accounts experience.
  • Sage software package knowledge (desirable).
  • Experience in different ERP systems.
  • Good time management, ability to work to deadlines.
  • Self motivated and use own initiative.
