The Company:
Theo James is delighted to be supporting a specialist manufacturer with the growth of their team for a Proposals Coordinator, who will play a key role in delivering products and services to the market.
Responsibilities of a Proposal Co-ordinator:
- Coordinating assigned RFI's, RFQ's and contract deviations.
- Coordinate proposal input from a variety of stakeholders including Technical Sales Engineers, Engineering and Commercial teams to enable us to produce high quality proposals.
- Edit and format proposal content to ensure the key messages are clear and submissions are of the highest quality.
- Ensuring that all Proposal Processes and Work Instructions are understood and followed consistently.
- Preparing and coordinating all proposal compliance documentation ready for submission to management for internal approvals.
- Coordinating deviations from our standard terms & conditions/sales contracts internally with the key stakeholders and preparing deviation lists ready for submission to the end user.
- Administration of all proposals and sales systems and logs to ensure they remain up to date and accurate.
- Collation of data for periodic reporting.
- Writing & reviewing various stock proposals/sales/marketing materials, including case studies and company presentations.
- Maintaining reviewing and updating of a bank of commonly used proposal information such as 'boilerplate documentation'.
Skills & Requirements of a Proposal Co-ordinator:
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment, particularly in a manufacturing, engineering or chemical/gas processing industry.
- Experience in proposal, PQQ and sales presentation coordination and in preparing high quality documentation as part of a team delivering to tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, time management and attention to detail, particularly with regard to compliance to tender specifications and deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft skills such as Excel; Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively with a global team, interfacing with team members in various countries.
- Ability to work independently, being accountable for accomplishing work with mínimal supervision.
