Orka Financial is currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis for a manufacturing business based in Slough. Our client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.


Working closely with the Financial Controller in the run up to year end, your main areas of responsibility will be analysis and reporting on overheads, posting journals, maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting the AP, AR and Treasury where required.


In order to be considered for this role you will need to have strong experience of the month end process and be able to hit the ground running.

For the right person, this could well develop in to a permanent position.


Initially, you will need to be happy to spend five days a week in the office but once you have settled in to the role then this could drop to three or four.

Standard working hours are 37 per week with flexible start times and an early finish on a Friday.

If you are AAT qualified or studying towards your AAT then this could well be the role for you. You will need intermediate excel skills, including pivot tables and vlook ups and be confident on systems.
