Overview of the Role


We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, to cover a maternity leave from March 2024 in KS2.

Experience of working within a school is desirable but we equally value the ability to learn quickly from both pupils' responses and from those of parents and other professionals.


Salary:
NJC scale points 12 to 19 (Bright Futures Grade 5). The full time equivalent pay is £26,421 rising to £29,777 per annum. The actual pay based on the below working pattern commencing £22,725 rising to £25,612. Pay progression is linked to performance.

Working weeks:

This is a great opportunity for flexible working as the role will work 38 weeks during school term time and an additional 1 week to be agreed.

A total of 39 weeks

Hours: 36.25 hours per week over 5 days. Flexible working will be considered, please discuss at interview if you wish this to be considered.

Holidays:
You will be paid for the prorate equivalent of 25 days, plus 8 public holidays. This increases to 30 days plus 8 public holidays after 5 years' service.
